I spent the end of a recent summer a short drive from Seekonk Speedway, a popular stock car race track on the Massachusetts border with Rhode Island. By the time I arrived, the afternoon light at the track had already started to tilt and deepen on its way to fall.
When night came, the sky turned from blue to indigo and the colors of the race cars became even more sumptuous, one last roar before the end of summer. /SEEKONK
