One of my first photos
I live in Los Angeles and photograph people and places that catch my eye. I peer into backyards and at people and their homes. I strive to capture what most purely expresses what I see. This requires me to pay close attention to things, which is a reason why I photograph.
I have a chance to see the world more completely this way. I get to look beyond the simple appearance of things. There is an opportunity to stumble upon deeper meaning in a simple gesture or shift in landscape and light.
